Toothy Time Centers and Math Journal Prompts!!

Hey there, sweet friends! The stomach bug hit my house BIG time this week, which is why I've been a little MIA. Yuck! Yuck!! Yuck!!! So glad to be feeling better & back to blogging!!

I wanted to introduce my latest themed math and literacy center packet ~ "Toothy Time"!! This unit would be a perfect addition to celebrating dental health month in your classroom while reinforcing important first grade standards at the same time!! WIN! WIN! I plan to use them the last couple of weeks in February after we finish up using my Valentine's Day centers!
The packet includes 12 hands-on centers (6 math and 6 literacy)!! Here's a sneak peek...

Speaking of dental health, have you heard of Love your Teeth? It is an awesome resource to share with your students/parents to spread some serious love for brushing!! Your kiddos can customize and print out their very own brushing charts for FREE!! Go check it out right now if you haven't discovered it yet!!

My next set of math journal prompts- Winter Vol.3 has also been posted on TpT! The majority of these prompts center around Valentine's Day, Presidents' Day, and Dental Health Month. There are a variety of skills covered: addition, subtraction, word problems, number representation, number combinations, even & odd numbers, number patterns, counting coin combinations, fractions, and more! Many of the prompts promote higher order thinking and multiple solutions.

I can't thank y'all enough for all of your love and support on TpT!! Your sweet feedback and purchases mean SO much to me!! They've been a  HUGE GIGANTIC blessing to my entire family & have helped get us through some pretty tough economic times!! Thank you! Thank you!! THANK YOU!!

I'm in the process of updating my Saint Patrick's Day unit, which was actually my very first TpT unit. I'll let you know as soon as it is ready!! If you bought this from me last spring, you will be able to download the revised version for free!

I'll be back this weekend with some free math goodies and a little run down on how I tackle differentiating math instruction without losing my mind!!

Happy *almost* Friday!! I don't know about you, but I am READY for the weekend!!
